Ernesto Díaz Aravena

He was born in Santiago de Chile and then moved with his family to Cauquenes, Maule Region, where he lives his childhood and adolescence.

His first steps in art began in the basic school motivated by his teachers, but it was in his adolescence when he deepens his love for art and discovers his ability for various branches such as drawing, painting, scenography, sculpture and poetry.

Although he studied philosophy and graphic design, he has always been passionate about painting, which has been its human and spiritual realization according to his own vision.

Based in Valparaíso for years, he has dedicated himself to creating his works in watercolor (in situ painting), acrylic and tempera (in workshop), most of his works are inspired by the old port of Valparaíso.
